Silicone Seal Gaskets,  T-Rubbers & String

    We are constantly trying to improve the life of silicone gaskets.  Our latest test run was to run 100,956 cycles in a VA430 Tiromat and checked daily for wear along the chamber lid.  Yes, the vacuum pump was on every cycle.  The seal plate was at 125 degrees Celsius, and the gasket still holds vacuum packages after this kind of abuse.  Visually you can see, the condition is very good considering how many  times the rubber was compressed and heated.

    The gasket and mating Brille are precision machined to lock together eliminating gluing, which in turn  results in less down time.
